Although the lighting in The Sims was already pretty awesome, that was mainly outside of the house.
Great detailed shadows, moving with the sun.
But indoors, well, it was brighter during the day, that’s for sure. And if you used bigger windows, means more light. But it wasn’t as awesome as outdoors.
But SimGuruPizza, also known as Emily Zeinner, hinted at something amazing, something visual that was shown in the last The Sims 4 Dine Out trailer.
So of course, I and many others went on a frantic search what it could be. And this is what I found:

But today, she shared an beautiful screenshot! (We’ll forgive the lack of wall texture) And it seems to confirm improved lighting in The Sims 4!
