Ghosts, and Pools and Careers, Oh My!

Less than a month after release, EA have given us a taste of what’s to come with today’s announcement. Not one, not two, but three updates over the next few months, bringing back some asked for features!

Firstly, and most importantly, POOLS ARE BACK!

Yep, one of the most requested, and most missed features, swimming pools are confirmed as being part of the November update. No further details are available yet, so we don’t know if it’s plain rectangular pools or shaped pools, what sort of pool furniture we’ll have – stairs, diving board or slide, or what sort of swimwear, but I’m sure we’ll all have fun speculating!

Secondly, today’s update brings ghosts back to your Sims game.

When your Sim dies, they’ll become a non-playable ghost, with all their previous attributes, and a few ghostly additions. You can also ask them to join your household and become playable. Level 10 gourmet cooks can also make ambrosia. Hmm, I wonder what that might do?

Other additions today include Star Wars themed costumes in time for Halloween, and a selection of new eye colours. Full patch notes can be found here, and are worth a read in more ways than one!

Finally, December will bring new career options, just in time for your Sims to earn extra simoleans for the holiday!  Again, details are to come.
